I have to admit that I had written a review months back about Motorcycles 508 that was okay. I was a little upset about a pricing issue. Also one of there salesman seemed short and not very personable. I am self employed and know the way you treating a customer is everything. I decided to ask for the owner Ronnie and what a super person to deal with ,his wife included. VERY helpful professional and courteous ended up purchasing 2 Haibikes electric mountain bikes. Received the 1st bike within days after order was placed., So pleased ordered another E bike bike for my wife. I can see why they are so busy will be recommending them to friends and other family members looking for bikes. Believe me when I say that I did a lot of research on E bike distributors and they are probably the best around.
Was looking to purchase 2 Haibike E mountain bikes. They had both in stock as demo's. Was a little worried about spending 4k on a demo. But when I received the bikes they were spotless and it was difficult to believe they were ever rode. They shipped the bikes same day and packaged then well. Recieved our bikes in 2 days. Very pleased with the purchase would recommend 508.
On Saturday November 28th. I purchased a 2004 Harley Davidson Dyna Low Rider from Motorcycles 508. The bike was paid in full at the time of the purchase. The salesman advised that the bike would be shipped to my home in Maryland and it would take no more than 30 days. He said it generally takes much less time but they tell everyone 30 days to be safe. I agreed and went forward with the purchase. After three weeks, I called and spoke with the Sales Manager and he advised that the promised 30 days hasn’t passed and that they were within their quoted timeframe. He did slip up and advised that they didn’t order the shipping until December 4th. I’m not sure why they waited 5 business days to order the shipper. The sales manager was not exactly friendly and basically told me to be patient. Today is December 28th. (30 days) and I have not received my bike or any calls from the shipper. If you purchase from Motorcycle 508, don’t expect to receive your bike in a reasonable timeframe. Poor customer service. Update: Today is January 4, 2021. The motorcycle still has not been delivered. I have had four other motorcycles shipped to my residence in the last 10 years and none have taken this much time. Motorcycles 508 has made NO attempt to make this right for their customer.
Had a good experience buying a used motorcycle from them. In and out in about 2 hours which included finalizing the purchase. Salesmen Nick was great, worked with me to get to my price and arrange the bike to be delivered a few days later. I docked a star for a few things, the bike was delivered practically on empty. After dropping over 6k it would have been nice to get a full tank of gas. The bike was pretty dirty although it is a used bike it did not look like any attempt was made to clean before delivery. No test drives, they have a great secluded location and it'd be nice to test the bike briefly prior to purchasing. They print out the necessary RMV forms all filled out but are not able to handle registration and title process themselves so it just makes for an extra trip to the RMV for the buyer. I'd recommend these folks for used bikes. They had a good selection and price is right. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the market again.
