My family of 5 arrived after a beautiful scenic ride. We were greeted by Joy and the dogs. We got to help hook the dogs up to the gang line and take them off at the end. She was super nice and knowledgeable. The dogs were amazing, mighty, small dogs. I still can’t believe they could pull weight like that! Very impressive. They loved to run too. We would stop for a short break and they were begging to get started again! We took 2 sleds. Myself, a 12 year old and 5 year old in 1 sled. My husband and my 15 year old In the other. Everyone got to have a turn at driving the sled. It was a beautiful, amazing experience that ended with hot chocolate and yummy cookies! We felt very safe and taken care of. A must do if your in or near Pagosa Springs.

We LOVED our adventure with Joy and her pups. It was so much fun! Joy is very good at what she does. She was clear with direction and teaching us what to do. She also took several photos and videos on our phone for us to have and share with family! You will not regret spending the day pretending to be next winner of the Iditarod.

WOW! What an amazing experience. Don't hesitate to join Joy and all her beautiful pups on this journey. You get to learn how mushing and sledding works and interact directly with the dogs. Our groups had 3 adults and 1 9 year old. It was so fun and active. The area is stunningly beautiful and it's worth every penny. You get to not only setup the team but learn how to ride in and drive the sled. The driving is of medium difficulty but gets easier the longer you do it. I highly recommend this unique activity. I did this once prior in Montana but did not get all the benefits Joy offered like working directly with the dogs, setup, breakdown and yummy cookies and cider after. She is exactly what her name is: JOY! Don't miss this adventure.

We love all sorts of Colorado adventures, but this was a one-of-a-kind experience to top them all! The dogs are absolutely amazing - they LOVE what they do and it's so fun watching them get excited to run. They're very well socialized and pretty friendly/loving. Joy was an absolute pleasure - she explained everything perfectly and had all of us all take a turn as the driver. I was a little nervous to drive, but it turned out to be the best part of the whole day. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants a hands-on dog sledding experience, instead of just sitting there and letting someone else do the work!

We had a great time on our dog sled adventure. Joy was easy to communicate with. Tour is very hands on which we loved. Would highly recommend. Our 4 year old had a great time and was even able to drive the sled between my legs.
