I get a \inspection for purchase\ at Bobcat of Lancaster in Brownstown, PA on a T300 Bobcat. I get the inspection report back from Bobcat of Lancaster stating \SOLID UNIT READY TO WORK\. So I purchase machine and I am in Wisconsin thus reason to use certified bobcat dealer to be my eyes. I get it back to Wisconsin and take straight to Mid State Equipment, (our certified bobcat dealer) within 3 minutes of our yard. The service manager was ready for the list sent over of 5 items to be repaired or replaced. Low and behold some of the items did not actually need replacing. They had down a window was missing, all they had to do was slide it forward-it was slid back. Upon review they noticed the main bolt missing on a roller for track machine, well turns out the roller was broke and track was not attached to machine broke at frame. This large bolt is visible with a 2 minute walk around the machine that it in fact wasn't there. Some 8,500 later to repair this with a certified welder, etc. Apparently Bobcat of Lancaster is partners or partially owned by Lift Inc in Mountville, PA. I get a call from a Kirk Sears wanting to put this situation behind them and offered 1,500 for the situation. What a joke thinking I was going to roll over and take the bait on that. The repairs have long been paid for. The problem with both of these companies is I have an inspection report that shows this is a WORK READY MACHINE from their own tech! Terrible way to do business and then when they have a chance to make it right and wash their hands of the situation, they go and waste my time with a worthless offer. I guess Bobcat of Lancaster and Lift Inc must be tied together because they offer the same lack of customer service. Save yourself the trouble if you have to deal with either company!!!!! Very disappointed at the way each does business.
