My kids and I love this place. We have been with Castle Hills Music Academy for 4 years going on 5 years. After a horrible experience with a Music and Arts piano teacher for my 8 year old daughter, I brought my kids here. The extremely talented teachers here are wonderful. Not just as musical artists in their own right but as teachers working with children and young adults. They are very kind and patient especially with my son who suffers from ADD/ADHD. They have helped my kids overcome their fears and build their self confidence. Through the years, the Academy managers at this location have been very professional, welcoming and helpful. They have been some of the nicest people I have meet here in my 15 years being here in Texas. Starting back when Ms. Sonya and Ms. Brittany ran the front desk to Mr. Raymond, Trinity and now Ms. Hope. They always make time for my kids and make sure they have everything they need to have a great session with their teachers. Even when extremely hostile parents have come in or called in yelling and demanding extra lessons for compensation for missed lessons or free lessons they weren’t entitled to they have remained professional at all times. Yes, I have witnessed people do this. Very unprofessional and low class behavior. If you want something why would you be nasty in trying to get it?Everything they can do and aren’t allowed to do is fully explained both in all the paperwork filled out and in person. The only thing I can figure is that they can’t afford the lessons to begin with and are trying to scam this company out of free lessons which is just tacky and what I call “low rent” behavior. If you take the time to get to know them they try their hardest to accommodate you as best they can. I highly recommend Castle Hills Music Academy. They are the best and highest quality teachers in the area.

I’ve worked with some of the teachers. They’re the best you can ever find. They are so amazing and loving. They care for the kids. Just super amazing. I’ll recommend them 100%.

I took guitar lessons and attended a summer camp here a long while ago. One of the things that I fondly remember was a very clean and friendly environment. If you take guitar lessons, ask for Andrew. He taught me not only how to play music, but also to enjoy it. I was in need of guitar strings and I thought about buying some from here to support a local business. I called and asked if they were still selling strings and I was answered with an enthusiastic yes. I told Trinity, the hostess, my thanks and that I would be coming down to purchase some. But before I left, I was called back and told that they were unfortunately out of stock. This means A). She was mindful and caring to the point where she double checked their supplies, and B). Thoughtful enough to call me back. Thank you, Trinity!

My kids have been going here for years. Unfortunately, the service has gone downhill quickly over the years. The only reason that I continued because my kids love their teacher. The store manager, Raymond, has never acknowledged us when we come in every week which is fine. As long as you don’t reschedule or encounter with Raymond, it’s fine. He makes it very difficult and certainly not accommodating when you have questions. He is quick to cut you off abruptly and so disrespectful in front of other students and parents, but most of all condescending. Tone and expression is everything. He does NOT set the tone for a children’s atmosphere. He would speak over you by getting louder and the answer is always NO! I have witnessed how he unprofessionally rudely speak to other customers, especially to a father who was trying to make up lessons due to just finding out his wife’s recently diagnosis of cancer. Raymond didn’t show any sympathy towards this family. He is a bull in a china cabinet. I have given him one too many chances to make it right. Shame on me. Worst part, you can’t ever get a hold of the owner, Scott. He would not answer nor reply to your emails. Sorry to say and have to be honest, Raymond should not be the face of the store, especially around your children. . Beware! Bottom line. They are not interested what is best for you and your children.

The Music Academy is a great place to take lessons! We service all of their pianos and have known the owner for years. The teachers at The Music Academy actually care about their students and have a passion for what they do. If you're looking for lesson on just about any instrument definitely check them out.
