EDIT: Found another mark on my guitar... Brought my guitar here for a fret crowning/redressing. Turned out the luthier was in only on Wednesday and Thursday (i think? in any case, he wasn't there too often) and I would have to get my guitar back in two weeks because I was away on a trip. When I got the guitar back, the frets looked awesome, and the luthier actually also cleaned out the metal shavings on the pickups that were left over from a mod that the previous owner of the guitar did. Was pretty happy; however, I soon noticed a huge translucent red mark on the finish near the neck joint and a red gash in the pickguard, and I panicked (99% sure it wasn't me; i had just changed it out). They told me that they would take a look at it and fix it for free. They got the job done (frets were nicely done), and Billy at the front was really, really accommodating and chill about everything, but I'm taking away two stars for the following: -the red mark appearing -the fact that after a second look, there are still traces of the red on the guitar -a sloppy restring job... I honestly think I could have done it better myself I'm sure the red mark thing was just a once-in-a-while blunder, but I'd look somewhere else to be honest. Refret job came out to around 130 (set-up included), but Star Guitars quoted me 110 so.........

Hands down best customer service ever. Ordered an item off their eBay page; shipping was very prompt, but there was an issue with the item I ordered, called up Chris and he had another one shipped out the same day for me. Friendly and courteous, I'll definitely be calling them back for my music supplies!

I mistakenly purchased the wrong size bass gig bag from The Muzic Store through eBay. Peter J. Scattaretico refused a full refund and instead attempted to charge a 20% e-stocking fee\ and \two-way shipping\. When I again asked for a full refund he reduced the e-stocking fee\ to 10%. I contacted eBay and they secured me a full refund and required me to pay the return shipping. Nine days after USPS confirmed the item had been delivered (possibly lost by USPS? stolen after USPS drop-off?), I had received no refund and eBay had to force Peter J. Scattaretico to issue a refund. This was the most complicated and frustrating mail order service experience I have had and resulted in my leaving the only \Negative\ review I have left in 15 years on eBay - all over a 20 item.
