Long time customer have bought random parts from Nelson for years. Have also purchased a new wrecker from Nelson truck. Approximately a month and a half ago took a wrecker to Nelson truck to have a diagnostic on the wrecker body system as it was not working. After a few days they called and said they checked (EVERYTHING) on the tow truck side and it is a bad actuator inside the transmission not engaging the pto. Paid almost 900.00. Picked up the truck and towed it to ford. Ford had the truck for about a month. Ford said nothing is wrong with the transmission. Called fleet sales west. (Reputable wrecker sales) in Oregon. Dropped my truck off Friday. Picked up Monday night with a brand new p.t.o. pump. The piece that Nelson truck diagnosed wrong the first time. And charged me 900.00 to diagnose and failed at. After calling for four days to get a call back to have the money refunded for a misdiagnosis they proceeded to tell me they would only refund half of that. Absolutely unacceptable to be charged anything for a misdiagnosis. Drs. Get sued for this type of thing. So is Nelson truck. Stay away. Do business elsewhere. I have all documentation if anyone is interested in seeing. Absolute ripoff. I will spend my hard earned money where it is appreciated.

Just bought a 2019 Freightliner M2 Rollback from them about a month ago and the experience was five stars for sure. Brian and Marshall are both great; I worked with Marshall a few years ago and he put in a ton of effort and got me everything I needed and even brought out a customer truck for me to test drive but at that time I decided against pulling the trigger on the purchase; Well its been a couple of years and I am in the position to buy and worked with Brian since he was the one there when I arrived and he was the same; Great customer service and very helpful; The truck is incredibly well thought out for its intended use; from the well positioned led backup lights, properly located controls, strength of the hydraulic pump, and overall look of the truck; Truck and rollback has worked flawlessly since I got it; fit and finish are excellent; Bottom line I highly recommend these guys.
