After the COVID numbers were starting to increase again in the San Antonio region we ended up canceling our reservation even though it was short notice. Kara was especially understanding and worked us through this process. As soon as things return to normal I will definitely be going back to New Braunfels rentals!

I’m not one to leave a review unless I’m truly impressed with my experience and the Tiki Lodge on River Road is a prime example of a wonderful experience. We had a group 12 and the staff was extremely helpful in arranging our visit and helping us determine which one of their cabins would best accommodate our needs. The staff is also very quick with all communications which is a huge plus. We’ve stayed at several locations along the river and this by far was the best, from scheduling to checking out the entire experience was perfect. As for the actual building structure of these lodges, it’s amazing, this is very luxurious space with upgraded features throughout. We have yet to stay at any other cabin along the river that is this nice. The outdoor patio/yard area had a little putt-putt course, charcoal grill, plenty of seating and has both an open and covered patio area and all this is literally 5-10 yards from the river. We were also shocked when asking if we needed to bring extra pillows and blankets…they said no they provide all of that for the max number of visitors each lodge accommodates and they did, we didn’t have to haul around air mattresses or blankets, it was all provided. It was also nice having upgraded appliances as well as a washer and dryer. Not only does the Lodge sit right on the river, it’s also conveniently located near a local bar/restaurant which provides a great relaxing environment as well. We also got to see some great wildlife while sitting on the patio drinking coffee in the morning, which was very interesting. This was the best experience we’ve had when staying on the river and you really can’t beat everything the Tiki Lodge provides. We will be back!
I can not recommend My New Braunfels Vacation enough! Kara and Jessica are dream to work with. They are professional,friendly and always available. Great communication! We have rented several times from them and have never been disappointed. All properties have been exactly as described. Well equipped and CLEAN! We can’t wait for our next family vacation! Hope to return soon!
Great place. Enjoyed the neighbors and the location. Not to mention having the dam so close was awesome! Kara was great too. She made it so easy to communicate with and was pleasant to work with.
Tiki on the Rio is amazing! The property was awesome - located right on the river. Everything was perfect from the property itself to the check in process and communications with the property manager. We will definitely be returning. .
