This is the BEST domestic violence shelter. The staff is professional, the lay out of the premises shows someone with a background in security or law enforcement. If you've never experienced violence I can attest to the level of damage it does to your entire existence. Every facet of your life, (emotional,financial,physical,etc.) Takes a beating that the outside world just does not care about. Point blank. Domestic violence shelters are supposed to help women and their children unfortunately many fall very short and many cause more harm than good. NOT NEW LIFE! New Life Center does what is says it does and helps women and families in the highest capacity! Kudos to the staff and team members, job well done.

I dropped off a donation & accidentally left 3 Christmas cards with 40.00 in the donation bag. i went back hoping someone would see my Christmas cards would turn it in. They let me look for the bag I donated & I didn’t nor did they see it. I looked on the floor to see if the items I donated was out. It wasn’t there, I happened to look again & I saw what I donated out. The bag was found & they put my donation out but kept my cars which had my nephew & niece Christmas cards that had 20.00 a piece in them. I’ve always donated to your organization & feel that the person that found the cards with the money in them was very dishonest & kept them. I’m very disappointed & I have to come up with another 40.00 to give to my nephew & niece for Christmas. I’m on a fixed income & just would have thought I could have gotten those Christmas cards back. Just wanted to let you know who ever took it should be ashamed of themselves but they are not because they kept children’s money. WOW! I hope that this never happens to anyone else that makes a mistake & leave anything valuable with their donations. So much for honest people.
New Life Center is more visible in the community than ever before and the great work to serve not only those impacted by domestic violence. They are now a dual agency serving domestic and sexual violence. Thank you for your years of support to those in need and to expanding to serve an even wider range of people.
