We highly recommend the school. Our son’s confidence in himself and his ability to learn grew exponentially. The teachers and staff are involved and responsive. In particular, Abbey Ross and Michael Walker always had time to answer our questions. They also made time to get to know the students individually, which our son really appreciated. The school hosts informational programs to make sure parents understand what students are studying as well as social activities so parents can get to know each other. The school’s online communication system was another huge plus for our family. We knew exactly how our student was doing and where we could help him on any given day. New Way will always be a part of our family. You put our son on the path to success. Thank you, New Way!

Although I'm sure this is a wonderful school according to the reviews, the way to get in is extremely difficult for parents like myself. When I first wanted to get my son in there, I was under the impression that I could sign up for a scholarship. What they don't tell you is that you are responsible for calling all those places yourself and have hope that they will give a donation. And most of them will not help unless your kid is already enrolled. Now how does that make sense? How can my kid get enrolled if no one will help with the scholarships? For one year it is 25,000! But this was a few years ago, I dont know if the policies have changed or not. I was very hopeful but when I started to call all those places for their support, they shot me down. Also, when you look up the school on google, it comes up as a PUBLIC school. Public schools are free to attend. This school is far from free. Again, I dont know if anything has changed about it, but now my son will have an awful education and not get the full support he needs for his disability.

Our daughter loves this school! Teachers are very supportive and encouraging...administrators are hands on, and school culture celebrates all children.

My son (now in 4th) has attended four different schools--one public, two charter, and New Way. We are partway through his first year and I can say with confidence this has been his best school experience yet. He used to hate school; now he loves it. He's made more progress so far this year in reading than in the last two years combined. Most importantly, we've seen his confidence blossom as his amazing teachers have helped him learn social skills and executive functioning to help him navigate daily life! I seriously don't have enough good I can say about the school, the teachers, or my experience here with my son. Family members from out of state who hadn't seen him for a few months were shocked by his progress over the holidays.
