This was one of the BEST steaks I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. Cooked to perfection, tender and perfectly seasoned. The rest of the food was amazing. I really enjoyed the lobster Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes. The drinks were fantastic as well. The ambience was just beautiful. Great music so you can still enjoy conversation and and intimate atmosphere. Perfect for a date, or a dinner where you want to be able to converse and enjoy a great meal. I will absolutely be back!

Overall the best steakhouse in NYC. I’ve tried pretty much every steakhouse in NYC for the past 4-5 years, for the longest time my #1 choice was Fogo De Chao in Manhattan just due to the overall environment, quality of steak, quality of side dishes, and quality of staff. But after trying 212 steakhouse this past weekend I have to say 212 has now taken the #1 spot. The staff were extremely friendly, the side dishes tasted very good and came out quick, and the steak was perfect in taste, in temperature, and in lean/fat ratio. Will definitely be coming back here and making this my regular to go spot!

212 Steakhouse Is truly as good as It gets when talking about fine dining in NYC! From the service to the food & drinks, I had the most spectacular experience. For an appetizer, we had the octopus which was the best my mother and I ever had from any establishment. Then for dinner, we got the lobster Mac & Cheese and potato au gratin which was both cheesy and delicious. The best part, however, was the authentic Kobe beef! Honestly the best steak I've had and 212 is the only restaurant on the east coast where you can find it! For dessert, we had the chocolate souffle, which was so tasty I would order it at every restaurant If I could haha. Lastly, all the employees were so nice and so helpful in giving us suggestions. We had Alexander for our server and he was the best! Will definitely be coming back!!!
