Went there with a church group. They let us have the back room so could sit together. The food was delish, the prices reasonable, and service was excellent.

This place has been around as long as I can remember and the food has always been the same... DELICIOUSLY WONDERFUL!! The fried chicken and Mac n cheese never fail to more than satisfy and I always end my meal with Russian salad (or lime jello salad?) I've said many times that if you leave there hungry it's your own fault because the plates are loaded! Obviously I HIGHLY recommend!!
Food was good however prices were very much off the roof. 35.00 for 2 plates, pretty much meat and 2 veg, dessert and tea.
Steak House is a family run cafeteria that had been around since at least the early 1990’s. Their crispy fried chicken is very popular but they also have other daily specials to choose from. Lots of great vegetable dishes like broccoli casserole and fried squash are a couple of my favorites. It is all made from scratch and their hot rolls are delicious.
This was absolutely the best fried chicken I ate in the states. The staff is friendly and the place is cozy with plenty of parking. Reroute your trip now! You need to come to Walhalla for this!
