So disappointing. Went here Saturday night and it took FOUR HOURS for only 2 appetizers and 6 entrees for the table. Wait staff was non attentive and never checked on us. We even tried to order bottles of wine which took 45 minutes since they kept forgetting about it and another half hour after that to place our order. For the price the food was not worth it, ravioli was extremely salty and the mac and cheese was pathetic. We saw multiple complaints that night from other parties because it was extremely slow and all the manager did was offer free shots. For a bill that was over 500 he should have done more to compensate for this horrible experience. Would not go back. Especially in the city there are many better options around.

What an experience!!! This was my first time in New York, so obviously had to have steak. Empire was phenomenal the wait staff was great they were so friendly and helpful. The grilled octopus was delicious and then came our emperor steak for 2 came. Magic is the word I'm going to use. It melts in your mouth the side of mash compliments it perfectly. Thank you empire for that experience
The food was phenomenal, staff always there for you, friendly and respectful. Highly recommend this place. If anyone are looking for business, modern, or cozy and romantic place this is one of those places.
My experience there was HORRIBLE. To start off it took nearly an hour for them to bring out a few simple appetizers. On top of that the waiter made sure EVERY other table around us was well taken care. I hate to bring race into this but it simply seemed like they did not want to serve people of color. Taking more than an hour to bring out some ginger ale and other fountain beverages is beyond unacceptable. The food was subpar AT BEST. I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone. Completely ruined my Valentine’s Day dinner. I’d literally give zero stars if I could but google won’t allow it
For my wife's birthday we decided to give the Empire Steakhouse a try. We couldn't have picked a better place, not just because of the food but because of the service. We started with some martinis that were recommended by our waiter, Zeljko , and they were exactly how we like them. The grilled octopus, Emperor's Cut steak, sauteed spinach and chocolate mousse cake were delicious. Our waiter made our experience so enjoyable. Very professional, accommodating and fun. On top of that, he didn't even know it was my wife's birthday.
