Newport Floors was excellent about communicating with us regarding the installation process and very flexible on timing the installation. Owner is very responsible, but shows up and calls when he says he will. He is very courteous and knowledgeable about hardwood floors and guided us in selecting a quality wood and planning the installation. He and his crew are hardworking and honest. I felt safe having them in our home, and they cleaned up incredibly well. They were responsive to all of our questions and requests. His price was excellent, no tricks and we are pleased with our choice of Newport Hardwood Floors. I highly recommend them!

Peter responded immediately to my initial call and provided an estimate within 24 hours. Using only your recommendation I was a little skeptical but his work ethic and his keen desire to please erased any skepticism I had. He was a pleasure to do business with and the replacing of my kitchen flooring with laminate materials was outstanding. He has set an extremely high standard for his quality work. I would recommend his floor laying work to anyone.

Unfortunately 0 Stars isn't an option. One of the worst subcontractors we've ever had. Do your research and avoid. Unprofessional, argumentative. Doesn't take responsibility for his mistakes. Finish work is very poor. We are in process of having bids from other contractors to come and fix the work done by Newport Floors.

We hired Newport Hardwood Floors to cover our lower floor and first level stairs with red oak common #1, sanded & finished on-site. There were open to working around our schedule, they finished on time, and the floor look really great.

Horrible experience. Use at your own risk. Peter's customer service skills are terrible. Argued with him for hours to get him to fix a tile that was sanded down. He tried to say that it wasn't his fault. We argued longer than it would have taken him to fix it. I wish I would have taken pictures before, during and after the job.
