Been going here for YEARS and originally started at the Mandeville location. Loved that one. Ever since I switched to this one (10years ago) they always seem to mix up my chart with my little sister's. She is 9 years younger than me, how can you get that mixed up? The receptionist is VERY RUDE and has been here since I switched over. Maybe she's a family member or family friend because she's always been here and has always been mean. Dr Leger and Dr Griener are amazing though, so is the lady who helps with finding the right fit of glasses. Lately I've been playing phone tag with them regarding test results. I tried to call but no answer and I can't seem to leave a voicemail. Last time I went in person I spoke to the receptionist regarding my test results to which she responded \we can't find your chart we will call you when we do\ THEY CAN NEVER FIND MY CHART. As I said before they always mix up me up with my little sister. Whoever is in charge of medical documents needs to do a better job and the receptionist needs to brighten up.

The doctor is amazing. Everyone else in this place is rude and inconsiderate. The wait times are ridiculous. I understand emergencies sometimes happen, but I highly doubt there has been an emergency occur every time we have been there. The employees who refer use \our policy\ as an excuse for everything need to be replaced or retrained. As soon as we can find another pediatric ophthalmologist, we will never set foot in this place again.

Was told that only the patient was allowed in the building by the receptionist not by the person who took our temperatures before entering the building. Nor did I see any sign stating that rule. But that obviously only applies to certain people. As I waited in the parking lot I saw multiple couples enter and leave the building together and only one person had had their pupils dilated.

We never got past the front desk. Cannot give opinion past that point. We drove 45 minutes to get to this place to only be told our child didn't have an appointment. The lady at the front desk tried to tell my husband about HIPPA Rights not knowing that he (my husband) is a 16th year medical attorney that works for one of the largest medical facilities in BR. He was much nicer than I would have been. Anyway after three phone calls confirming info before the appointment, checking our kids out if school and driving past Hammond, our kids still have had no eye exam. \u200d️Anywho we decided there is no point arguing with someone who thinks they know everything.

My daughter broke her glasses on friday 1.10.20 and Lisa with Optical Eye/Northshore Eye Associates had a new pair for her ready first thing tues morning 1.14.20. Northshore Eye is the best!
