I am very proud of working with OnwardHope and looking forward to being part of a humble and growing team. This field of work is not easy, especially with three divisions of non-profit work in adoptions and foster care licensing, parenting support, and transitional youth. I am confident that once OH gets into its new location 2020 it will make it possible to reach out to more potential adoptions and foster caring homes for kids needing a family.

WARNING! Interested in becoming a Foster Parent? STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY. The behaviors you can expect from their staff are as follows: Passive/aggressive treatment, misuse of the foster care placement list, abuse of power & retaliation if your vocal or exercise your rights as a Foster Parent. Good Luck trying to transfer elsewhere once they've got you! They will also make that process incredibly difficult and discourage other agencies from taking you on. Onward hope is a two star agency at it's very best.

This is a wonderful foster care agency. The staff are knowledgeable and inviting. It is a smaller agency. It gives you a sense of family and personalized service. I would recommend this agency to anyone interested in making a difference in a child's life.

Two classes were rescheduled last minute while I was in route. The communucation was terrible and last minute. The staff was passive aggressive and not personable at all. My home was unfairly criticized. They want understanding and considerations that they aren't willing to extend to prospective foster parents. I completely understand why there is a shortage of foster parents if other agencies are anything like this one. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.
