Went to Onyx today with my mom and little sister. We were greeted and the man at front desk was very helpful. After that, we chose our colors and we're handed menus of the complimentary drinks. We were seated quickly, there wasn't any wait at all. The chairs have a massage feature which was amazing and really enhanced my relaxation. I chose to do the Onyx pedicure, which I will recommend for sure. It was reasonably priced for such a great service. Absolutely soothing! I chose to try the Hawaiian Mimosa as my beverage, which was very delicious! My nail tech was Ann. She was incredibly sweet, personable, funny, and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed the whole time. She made sure to take her time. It was an incredible experience all around. I was hesitant at first because of the negative reviews I read, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and I really relaxed. I will definitely be returning to see Ann!

I had an appointment yesterday, and had to wait 40 min before anyone was available to do my nails. When I notified the owner that I had been waiting 40 min and I had an appointment that I was on time for, he said well we are very busy, and have had a lot of walk ins. I stated that I had an appointment, and appointments should have time allotted for them. He abruptly told me "to go there was someone ready for me now." He was very dismissive, and unapologetic. The technician doing my nails rushed so fast she cut my cuticle with the drill, and just left it bleeding as she dipped my nails in the powder. She finished my dipped nails in 30 min. It usually takes 45 min- an hour.

Came here last night for a last minute appointment. They closed at 5:30, but had an appointment for 4:45. Upon doing my nails the gentleman (didn't get a name) that was doing them was rude and yanked my hand and arm around during the whole thing. He rushed the nails and when grinding off the old dip, the machine was getting hot and I kept telling him it hurt, but he kept on. When shaping my nails he filed so hard that he cut into three of my fingers. When he put alcohol on them to finish off the dip I told him it was burning. He said "oh, you have a small cut." Well yeah cause you cut me!! He proceeded to do nothing about it. I will not be coming back.

Jackie did an amazing job on my nails. I asked for gel and she was very precise and detailed with my nails. Would highly recommend. Update: went back for a dip manicure today. The service overall was sub-par and the guy that did my nails was very aggressive. Definitely makes me question going back.
