They get my difficult prescription right every time. Great selection of frames and only let me try on what will work with my prescription. Wonderful service. Expensive but worth it. Stella is awesome when choosing frames!

I was traveling from Los Angeles to Boston area last week and my Cartier eyeglass was broken from the middle. None of the optical stores could fix it for me and one of them recommended Optical 3 in Chestnut Hills because they do sell and fix Cartier. When I got to the store and a real gentleman helped me and it took him around 10 minutes to get it fixed. When I asked him how much do I owe him, he told me that I owe him a big smile. I was really impressed. I was a traveler and it is hard for them to have me as a return business and their kind assistance should be praised and should bring them lots of business. Because they are really good people and deserve the support from the neighborhood. I want to take this opportunity to thank them again and I may stop by their store if I ever visit Boston area again. May God bless them.
I am pleasantly surprised by the exclusive selection the store has to offer. Shopping at the mall I stumbled upon the store and had a pleasure to work with store manager who made it a seamless experience for me. She called my dr for my prescription and the glasses were ready when promised. In all the years wearing glasses I can honestly say I never got so many compliments for the new look. If price is not an object I would recommend visiting the store.
The store is very clean, I have to disagree with prior reviews. The staff is very friendly and helpful with style choices. My only wish is that they had a frequent fliers plan! The glasses are expensive and I spend so much on there, I believe myself to be an avidly loyal customer. Bring in some kindof discounts and my review goes to 5 stars!
Opticians 3 used to be our go-to place for prescription glasses. The retailer changed ownership, service is NOT what it used to be. My husband took in a pair of glasses that needed a nose piece replaced. They did not offer a fix, they wanted to sell him a new pair. All together my family has purchased at least 16 glasses from this retailer. NO MORE, looking for a new optician for my business.
