I injured my left shoulder at work on June 19,2019. I was referred to an Orthapedic Specialist by Roane Medical Center and on July 3rd Workmans Comp gave me a list of 3 Dr's to choose from. I chose Dr.Mackay and I'm 100% confident at this point that I made the right choice! Had my 1st appointment in mid-July and was really impressed with him as well as his staff. I was put in a room within 10 minutes and Dr. Mackay knocked on the door shortly after. He took his time examining my shoulder, talking with me and answering my questions. He told me he was pretty sure the labrum was torn and ordered an MRI. 2 weeks later I had it and the day after he called me with the results...torn labrum! He told me I'd need surgery to fix it,explained what he'd have to do and how he'd do it. Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27th! I'm beyond thankful!

On this New Year's Eve I thank God for Dr. MacKay and the blessing of mobility. After two back surgeries I am now pain free and able to walk normally without pain after a ruptured disc. Thank you to Dr. MacKay and his wonderful staff and the great staff at Methodist Hospital Oak Ridge!! Happy New Year!!

I broke my left lower leg and ankle on New Year's Day. ER in Oneida told me to see the consulting surgeon the next day but could not get a call back from them so I called Ortho Tennessee of Oak Ridge. They set me up an appointment right away. Had surgery Jan 10th and on the road to recovery. THANK YOU! Dr. Benson and staff. Everyone very nice!!
