Great experience! The owners are so friendly and helpful. Plenty of wine to chose from. Nice quaint farmland! I can't wait for apple season ️

This is a fabulous family-owned winery that sits on the Blue Ridge mountain road. They have a broad range of fruit wines utilizing fruit grown on their own farm, Johnson's Orchard! The store has a broad assortment of very original fruit wines and other home made products, like exquisite jam's and sauces. The store provides a wine tasting experience. For 8 each, you can taste eight different wines of your choice. Interestingly, the store has farming implements scattered throughout that gives you an idea of what was used, in past years, to manufacture their goods. This is definitely a wonderful place to bring a date or your spouse for a relaxing day.

We visited Peaks of Otter Winery while camping at Peaks of Otter with our dog. The winery is very dog friendly and we really enjoyed it. They have a huge variety of various fruit wines - apple, mango, strawberry, even dragonfruit. You can taste 8 different wines but there are so many, we did it twice and ended by buying two bottles. You can pick your own apples, but we just got some from the bins. And the apple cider donuts are phenomenal. We will definitely visit again next time we're in the area.

Finishing our chores for the week Doris Mosocco & I decided it was a great day to get out & explore the nearby Peaks of Otter Winery where we were introduced to the new & exciting world of blackberry, blueberry, peach, coffee, pear, apple, wines produced here locally. After our wine flight of 8 wines, we exchanged our cash for their wines to take home with us, a fair trade. LOL. We also purchased some apple butter and blackberry syrup. Wonderful day to have some fun! Their smoker going with today's BBQ was driving me nuts! Nice outdoors environment. Plenty of families around picking apples and enjoying the fields and fun going on.
