For the most part every time I come here things are smooth and timely. Staff are professional and friendly enough. Covid threw me a curve ball. But it's easy enough once you do the new process a few times. My only real complaint is how unfriendly the girls working the gates are. I know it's not their job to be friendly but a \have a safe day\ goes a long way besides a slam of the window.
Beth and the crew at Penn Terminals are simply phenomenal. If you e never shipped a vehicle before, it can be a confusing process. Beth identified a problem in my order, which allowed a fast a smooth resolution and kept my shipment on schedule. Additionally, everyone at the terminal was professional, friendly and courteous. Thanks to all of them!
Shippers Beware!!! Drivers! Be prepared to get assaulted by the security here! They are having a bad day every day. No direction as to the parking on their lot, no signs for a “right” Gate, no space to turn around, and most of all, they have no safety precautions and will direct the dangerous way you should move and park your truck not before but after you enter their facility. They call police to get you out for being a safe driver. Check in by email only with long list of items to be reproduced, copied, completed and be sent prior to getting a door, and the receiving is following the security guards, not other way around. This WILL delay your truck and freight shipped through PENN TERMINALS. Full disregard of your CDL safety needs. They require 80 fees from the No TWIC driver via credit card. You must be very lucky to get unloaded here, not to mention hours of wait time for their bureaucracy to fall through. Disrespectful, intimidating, disorganized.
Fantastic staff! In specific Christina W. Had a little issue with delivery because number were wrong (not the ports fault) spoke with Christina and she was EXTREMELY helpful!! She made a few phone calls and e mails and got it figured as in very little time, which helped me get out ASAP! she went over and beyond to help me, more than anyone else would do in the area. Very professional, nice, and knowledgeable! Thanks so much! I will be back again in the future
