I wish I would have known this place was a scam years ago when I spent thousands of dollars for nothing. I was only called once for a job as an extra. I am glad it is shut down. The owner was just after people's money and didn't care at all for her "clients". I agree with a comment that someone else posted on here, the pictures did look cheap. The "makeup artist" was very mediocre.

Spent money for photos and after 7 months finally got them printed and they look so cheap. Never submitted for jobs since they couldn't find the photos for months without me harrasing them. Embarrassingly unprofessional. Amateur makeup artist and photographer.

THE PHOENIX AGENCY IS A TOTAL SCAM, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! I paid the Phoenix Agency 200 to sign my daughter up for modeling gigs to help pay for her college in the future. On a regular basis we sent in pictures to update her profile. I also called in once a month to check in and they said that we need to be patient. Over the course of 2 years they have never once called us for a gig. I later found out from the photographer that the only photos on file were the very first ones we submitted and her profile had never been updated. After the contract was up I asked for a refund and they refused. It was a total waste of time and money.

I've been modeling for four years now. I was signed with several agencies in Florida before moving to Albuquerque a few months ago. I'm incredibly passionate about modeling so I looked for an agency as soon as I got out here. The Phoenix Agency seemed legit at first, the only red flag was their website wasn't the professionally designed page that I was used to. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a try and submitted all the required paperwork (and two headshots) to Janice Lujan. About a day later, she emailed me back and asked me to come in for an interview. As soon as she found out I already had professional headshots and a portfolio longer than all her "clients" plastered across the walls, I never heard from her again. Looking back, I'm assuming the Phoenix Agency is a complete scam. I've heard from others that they charge an outrageous amount for mediocre headshots (300) and a fee to be "featured" on their website. Do your homework before EVER signing on the dotted line; a reputable agency would never charge you for these things. I've also heard rumors now that they're closed...

Watch out for any agency that charges money for joining a website or doesnt come across as professional. I went in for an interview after applying three weeks ago. There was an issue when I came in. First off I don't picture an agent being a college kid wearing shorts and a T-Shirt I mean yeah we all start somewhere but a legit agent I think would be a bit older and have experience. In the Interview I was asked to pay 159 dollars for a website but that I joined through them it would be 127 that was the first red flag when you are in the business to make money not lose money its get suspicious. Very smart what they are doing but it will catch up to them. I found out they are not sanctioned by the SAG or AFRA. When you sign with an agency that is not part of those two words thats a problem. Also looking at their site it was so slow I would never sign up for that and pay that much money to get access. Lastly My pictures weren't good enough okay that's fine I sent him better ones via email the whole day never got back to me 18 hours and counting. I had a feeling He wasn't even going to submit me to calls until I paid 159 which won't happen. other reviews people praise them but I ask them how much did you fork out. Because no agency is ever going to charge like this one does. A real agent will never ask for money they see you and invest in you as potential actor or model. They will do everything to help you succeed because that's how they get paid. So I am running for the woods the choice is yours but do your research before ever forking out money!!! or going with this agency. My advice becareful. Do your research I talked to numerous people about it and I also professional agents and their advice was basic smart scam but run for the woods.
