Enjoyed this beautiful location as well as the information about the history of the Pilgrims. I could be wrong but it seems as though this place is underrated and taken for granted. Just being in this location and atmosphere has caused a deep appreciation for the history of our country. Everything that I thought about Pilgrims has changed. Everything that I thought I knew about our forefathers is different. I am thankful that these places exist and that people decided it was important to preserve this information. I look forward to visiting this place again as well as sharing this information with my children.

The park is extremely small. Plymouth Rock and a replica Mayflower ship are on site. Both are fairly underwhelming. We made other plans for the area and stopped here on the way home. Definitely not something to go out of your way for, but it’s cool to add as a stop if you’re in the area.

Nice area to walk around. Nice and open. I didn't realize until this trip the the rock was small and not a giant cliff or Boulder. I have been hearing stories of Plymouth rock since kindergarten so I feel fortunate have been able to stand in the same area I learned so long ago. There is also a restroom on-site. With running water, soap and doors. Across from the rock there is a museum. With a lot of stairs leading up to it. This was nice after having been driving for so long. Be sure to pay for parking. We paid in one lot stayed for about 10 minutes then moved down to the next lot when we saw an ice cream shop. We didn't pay at the next lot thinking we were still covered. Luckily some concerned citizen left a reminder. I guess as patrons of local shops and visitors from the otherside of the country we deserved a ticket for not paying twice. Live and learn.

It's hard to believe how small the Mayflower is until you see it in person! The walkway along the water was very nice.

What a great monument to visit, we went in the winter and while most of the amenities were closed it was still very pretty and historic
