This day. My dad received a little part of justice. In recovery of stolen property. It means a huge part in time and memories. Two officers interacted with during the return of the property showed a outstanding conduct. Thank you for your professionalism in the report and during the return process. Almost unsung heroes. Like others before. Those people that remain anonymous and are so helpful to people and the community.

They were very gentle when they handcuffed me, and their patrol vehicles are incredibly roomy. Overall, very professional. Will get arrested by them again, for sure.
Handed clear and concise video and photographic evidence of theft and possession of stolen property, proof of ownership of the item stolen, a promise from the Officer that a charge would be completed. Well, back in August! Still waiting Officer! Sadly, the criminal is connected to a family with money, so likely nothing will be done...again! Thanks for upholding the law...NOT!!!
5 stars. yes there are one or two who should not be a cop. There are one or two of us people who should not be on the streets anytime of day. BUT, I have lived in Mount Vernon WA since 2008. Skagit Highlands area. The police department here was thrown a few thousand people into this city starting in 2006 to recent. It is a small department, more humane and respectable than most, imho. They do take the time to talk to people , they do take the time to get what is wrong ,straight,they do, and from where I am sitting, take a lot of guff without losing their cool. Try having a cop in Seattle be this good and caring.Believe me , it is hard beat up there . I could compare them to other areas, but they would all rate the same. Their scores would be in the mid 3's. Mount Vernon, WA rates a solid 5 for being able to handle troubled youth and domestic issues. Believe me , I have lived in a few areas and this 'cop shop' is above average . Excellent ,actually.
