PNCT is the largest sea port in the eastern United States and the third-largest in the country. They are currently undergoing renovations. Hopefully with all of the new technology they will be able to dispatch driver in and out faster and safely. P.S. it is true that sometimes the longshoreman can be rude, but I do understand that their job can be stressful. If all of the drivers respect and follow the terminals rules, they should not have any issues. With that said the longshoremen do one hell of a job.
Busy terminal. Reefer department works very slow. Seems poor organized. Starts late and keeps people wait for hours. Update: location MB99 is the laziest place ...union it is. Update. Again stuck at mb99 for almost two hours. Horrible service. ...slow motion on the picture. September 23/20. Dropping off at GR99 is a real ordeal. Update. Things has changed. Now the S99 is the place you are unlucky to get for drop off.
PNCT has become one of the WORSE terminals ever. My drivers wait 3-4 hours sometimes more to pick up ONE container. For someone to pick up the phone is like pulling teeth. I have spent hours on the phone, only to get either a rude person on the other line or someone who just hangs up. No one at the terminal is very helpful with anything. I had a lost container and they told me it was found, however when my driver got to the terminal it was lost all over again and they made him void out, when it was THEIR mistake. HORRIBLE! They need to fix it and make it more organized.
