Their technician Curran responded over the phone on a Saturday night when my furnace quit working (and below zero temperature outside). I was waiting for my home warranty company to approve the service call (which they weren’t doing), and Curran spent at least a couple of hours helping us diagnose the problem ourselves, and then fix it, with his direction and help just over the phone. He was so professional, patient, knowledgeable, and just unbelievably kind to do that. And I was very impressed that he said he was sure that Protech wouldn’t mind that he had done that, despite the fact that it meant they didn’t wind up having to come out and get the business. Consequently, I would highly recommend Protech, especially if they support having great employees like Curran!

After a huge wind event, our furnace broke down at our weekend cabin. I had MLK off for the holiday so i called and Michele was able to work me in with Curran who responded and did a great job getting us up and running, negating the need to take a day off work to come back for service. I found their fees to be very reasonable. I highly recommend this company for any service they can provide.

We called Protech today for an issue with our thermostat/furnace. We had a same day visit scheduled and the technician called to let us know he was able to arrive early if we were able to accommodate, which we were thrilled to accept. Russell, the technician, was not only able to quickly fix our issue but also helped us with some tips on installing a different thermostat. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. Excellent service, extremely prompt, reasonable rates (they only charged us the basic service fee of 89 - no additional charges). Definitely will use them again if we have any needs for plumbing, heating and AC and I would strongly recommend to anyone who needs a reliable company in/around Estes Park. Great job!

Russel and Curran were professional and efficient while providing quality service, but more than that they were personable and unobtrusive as they went about their work and I played with the kids or just tinkered around in my day. They thought creatively about what was there and found a way to ultimately make the job cheaper, shorter in duration, and with less holes in our floor! They did a great job and we’ll use them again.
