I went yesterday for my first exam with this office. I have been going to another office for years. My appointment was at 3:30. They look me right in. The exam was thorough- better than exams I had prior. Another person helped me pick out glasses. He was fantastic. I really enjoyed my experience and plan to go back in January when my insurance renews so I can get new sunglasses.

Reading Eye is an optometrist who’s been in Reading for many years. They are very thorough, efficient, and do a solid job helping you out with anything eye health related. Their staff is very polite and professional. The store has a big variety of frames and getting your glasses doesn’t take long.
I had an awful experience here. I was asked to bring my eyeglasses (broken), contacts, (gone, and on my last pair. Both WHY I came in the first place). Was turned away by the front desk. Wanted a full exam. Went elsewhere who cared. So happy now somewhere else. EDIT: And yes, I did show up for my appointment, so not sure why the owner replied saying I didn't. The person at the front desk was quite rude to me and wouldn't let me have my appointment, which I won't forget.
Helpful and nice staff. And the doctor is amazing. Higly recommended.
This is a fantastic group of professionals. I have a very difficult prescription that required substantial customization. Bob and his team not only worked hard to find the perfect glasses to fit my fact, but also to fit this prescription. He also got it right the first time. I strongly recommend this group.
