I hired Ryan from Reliable Pools LLC out of Abbeville, La to replace my in-ground pool liner. They did a fantastic job! It was extremely difficult to find someone who would even take the job on. Most companies declined. Ryan and Cody were patient and professional with the process because the job didn't go exactly text book. I'd definitely recommend them and/or hire them again. Thanks guys. I tried to get a leak fixed and was stood up 3 times. We would set up a time and he would never show. Don’t waste your time with this company, very unreliable.
At first, was amazing. Got my pump and tank replaced in a timely manner and cleared up the pool. I had to call about a week later about the installation of the chlorine storage he told me about, however when he installed it he didn't put chlorine in it and i got algea. Have been trying to contact him since March 26 with no response on how the pump and cleaning of the pool actually works. He told me he had to come out 4-5 times after installation to make sure the levels were good and has not done that. So I feel my quote of 500 for that has not met the acquired agreement. Been very patient about writing this review to hopefully I would get a response but because I have neither gotten a text or phone call from in over a week, I feel that his new customers should know if you want a job done at 85%, this is the guy.
More like UnReliable Pools. I can't say anything about Ryan's pool maintenance as I haven't used the service, however I had a complete makeover on my pool, a two to three week job, so said, that has so far taken 3 months. Although the almost finished job looks pretty good, we are still missing parts and have an unfinished cool deck, as well as a bad leak in the pool. The reconstruction work was done by a man and wife team who worked incredibly hard. I never knew when people were going to show up to work, even when promised a day or time. There was a severe lack of communication and often complete disregard for my phone calls.
I would not wish Ryan Mayard of Reliable Pool out of the Abbeville, Louisiana on my worst enemy! He LIED to us about having insurance, he LIED to us about being competent to repair my pool. Long story short, we spent 16,000 to fix our pool after the August flooding and Ryan caused more damage than before and basically victimized us again. Even after giving him 9 months to make it right, he did nothing. He wouldn't even come get the concrete that he left on my neighbors property. He hasn't tried to fix it or repay us what he stole from us. I am pursuing legal action against him-any competent lawyer will have a field day with this slam dunk case. Save yourself from making the same mistake I did.
Great company to work with! Maintenance packages that include chemicals (no stocking chemicals anymore)...They take care of everything!
