So we left Texas around August 2020 and went to Arizona. Arrived in California Feb 2021 and we're elated to discover Rosa's had a location here. It was perfect!

The restaurant smells wonderful and the food was delicious! Only 3 stars because the tamale was the cutest little thing I ever saw! Very tasty, though. The green sauce was an excellent choice. The guacamole is awesome, too. And they have cake.
I used to eat at Rosa's Cafe when I was young and lived in Texas. It was my favorite place then and it's still my favorite place now. Was so happy to find this place some years back now that I live in California. This is the only one in California so if you are into Tex-Mex food and soft, fluffy, and fresh flour tortillas this is the place for you. I've been eating their beef fajitas and bean burritos for 20 to 30 years and it's always been my favorite restaurant. Love, love, love it!
I love Rosa's Cafe! Their fresh made tortillas are absolutely amazing! So soft, and fluffy. I could eat these plain all day. So amazing! They are open for dine in right now, with every other table closed. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed eating inside and knowing it was clean and safe. The staff was very friendly and patient as we decided what to order. We will definitely be back!
We were starving and pulled in here thinking that it was going to be a long sit down restaurant wait, since it is just outside of Old Town. We were so pleasantly surprised that when we walked in it was set up like a taco shop with a very large dinning area. We ordered our food and before we even got our drinks and sat down they called our number. We got the nacho salad and cheese enchilada, both delicious and too much food. The cost was much less than I expected, it was corner taco shop prices with restaurant quality food. They make their flour tortillas there and it was an added novelty to watch the machine. We will definitely go back when we are in Temecula.
