I highly recommend training at East Coast Fencing Club as the head Coach Gidon is one of top coaches Ive worked with. He cares a lot about each individual student and finds every way to help them improve and sharpen their skills to become an elite fencer.

Having been coached by Gidon for more than 10 years, I can confidently say that he is one of the most hardworking and dedicated coaches I have ever met. He is always looking out for the best interest of his students both on and off the strip. East Coast Fencing Club provides a space where students can grow as athletes and have a good time improving their skills with a community of friends. Speed and agility training as well as conditioning and stretching exercises are incorporated into the classes.

I am so happy I came upon East Coast Fencing Club. My daughter’s strength, speed and confidence have really improved! The coaches are wonderful and I can truly say I chose the very best foil club on Long Island! My daughter can’t wait to get back into the gym once Covid restrictions have been lifted. The coaches have been doing zoom training 6 days a week and I don’t think my daughter has missed one session bc she loves it so much.

A nice and clean club with the best Foil coach in Long Island. Members are friendly. Club offers different package for different needs. My girl is making progress and likes the place and coach a lot.

I've been in fencing for 13 years, both as a parent and competitive fencer; and have known Gidon for most of those years. He is an excellent foil coach. His students have had successes at all levels ... local, regional, national, and international. His club is well run and has a wonderful positive energy that inspires his students to work hard and have fun. As a competitive veteran fencer, I’ve had lessons from eight different coaches; and, while all my coaches were excellent, I find Gidon’s lessons to be the most impactful to my fencing abilities.
