My bf and I go for the catfish. He orders the one filet and I order the catfish nugget bites from the appetizer menu and that's plenty for me. Very generous portions and the food is always delicious!

Pacific Star is one of our favorite go-to restaurants for seafood in Round Rock. Always get full and consistently yummy! The gumbo is AMAZING. Not too spicy, lots of flavor, and not skimpy on the shrimp! The catfish is seasoned well and fried to perfection. I get the filet and my Mother-In-Law gets the whole catfish. She's particular about her catfish and loved it. My husband has had Alaskan Salmon and Rainbow Trout before as well, and raves about both! Highly recommend this place. It may be little but its fiercely amazing!

Pacific Star has a home style feel to it that is family friendly. The staff is welcoming and engaging with their customers which is what keeps me coming back. The food is on par for mainly being fried fish, shrimp, and oysters. I had blackened snapper and enjoyed it. I haven't had everything on the menu but I like what I did have. Enjoy!

The blackened catfish was quite tasty, not as \blackened\ as I'm used to, but not oversalted and with a distinct black pepper edge. Wanted chowder but they specialize in gumbo and it was good; loaded with shrimp and bits of fish.

My first visit did not leave a good impression. My daughter and I were looking for some good Catfish and this place has some good reviews so we were happy to give it a try. We walked in and were not really welcomed, just a head nod pointing out to pick a seat... Our order was taken pretty quick so that was good. I had a dozen oysters on the halfshell which were fresh and tasty although my beer I had with them was tepid and flat... Our catfish arrived to the table and was cooked to perfection, or so it seemed. The breading was crispy and golden but the fish inside was mushy and watery, I had two filets but only ate one, hush puppies were well browned but undercooked in the middle, fries were pretty good. Sorry to say but we probably won't be back.
