This Greek Orthodox Cathedral does not get 5 stars because I'm Greek. Not at all. It is indeed a place that exceeds your expectations of a cathedral. The church itself is really spacious and super beautiful inside. The Easter ceremony there is magnificent and you might catch a glimpse of Tom Hanks sometimes. There is ample room for parking which transforms into a great space for events which they organize often there, with live music, dancing and food. I have had many incredible days there. This is one of the best orthodox churches I'd seen in the LA area. The inside art is amazing to look at. You must visit.

Just went after coming back from overseas and wow what a difference in attitude, kindness and everything one would hope for in Orthodox churches. This time felt much more friendly, inviting, inclusive and more on message with the tenets of Orthodoxy. It was really great to enjoy the liturgy with a much more inclusive and realistic representation of the Orthodox and non orthodox yet cathecumen from LA where there's a wide variety of people and orthodox from everywhere not just Greece or Greeks. Great job Fr. Chris! And it didn't hurt that the day we decided to check it out was the last day of the Greek festival which was a lot of delicious food, great atmosphere and fun.

We went for the Greek Festival! Had a great time. Lots of food choices. They had Greek coffee. They also has a wide choice of wines too. A handful of gift boutiques. A play area for the kids with bounce house & air balls & a dance for for everyone to enjoy .

Gorgeous cathedral. Would definitely go for a mass anytime (even though I'm not orthodox) just to see the scenery and experience a rich religion.
