We are beyond impressed with Sam Stroud and his team, particularly RJ and Tyler. We hired them as our wedding photographers for our Sept 26 wedding and we would recommend them to anyone and everyone. We just got the photo album back and we are truly blown away. Sam really listened to what we wanted- traditional shots mixed with some dramatic shots (b & w film, cropped, candid) and wow did his team execute. RJ and Tyler were so much fun to work with and were giving off the best energy from the moment we stepped foot at the venue through our final farewell. You could tell that they were both eager to capture our special day perfectly, and their passion and talent really come out in the photos. They were so easy to work with and I wish we had the opportunity to do it again! The picture quality/ lighting/ angles in each and every picture are incredible, and we truly feel like we get to relive the day over and over again just looking at them. I really can’t express how amazing this team is and how in love we are with the wedding album. There are a ton of photographers out there but I’m telling you these guys are insanely talented and will exceed all of your expectations. Thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and for the beautiful photos that we will treasure for a lifetime. -Haley & Jeff

I'll eco previous comments as they applied to me. 1) three weeks after the wedding I still had no photographs- I had to BEG over multiple days to get a response and only then received a small sample of my photos. 2.) once I received the gallery prints, the website indicated that the prints could be downloaded in three file sizes: web, high resolution and original. However, all three downloads produce the SAME file size, which is not high quality enough to get prints made on shutterfly or other similar websites. I’ve emailed Sam about the problem and received no response. By contract I am supposed to own my photos but Sam doesn’t seem to let me have them in a resolution that is acceptable. AND HE DOESN’T RESPOND.
Sam and RJ photographed my wedding and engagement shoot and they crushed it. I knew from the start I loved their picture aesthetics so I reached out. Sam made me feel super comfortable through the process, was super responsive with my 100 questions and delivered a super high-quality product! I would recommend both photographers to anyone! Great job!
Sam Stroud photographed my wedding in November 2018. The pictures are amazing and Ellie his photograph deserves all the credit. Dealing with Sam, however, is difficult. I had three very disappointing experiences: 1.) he promised me a drone for aerial photos then told me ON MY WEDDING day that the vineyard was in some restricted airspace and drones were illegal. 2.) three weeks after the wedding I still had no photographs- I had to BEG over multiple days to get a response and only then received a small sample of my photos. the timing of my wedding happened to create the “due date” for our photos within the week of Christmas. I was, of course, trying to make Christmas presents with the photos. WOW! wear to start..I'll first off say I have never met a more professional, charismatic, and kind person as Sam Stroud and his team! When looking back on my wedding day there is absolutely no other photographer I would rather of had! Not only was Sam and his team prompt, engaging, and seriously well dressed but the pictures were AMAZING!!!! like amazing, amazing! Sam made the entire process from the beginning when my husband and I got our engagement pics to our actual wedding day seamlessly easy! I would recommend Sam and his team 100 times over!!
