This was my husband and I first time visiting this restaurant. We’re from California so I wanted something that was close to Hot n Juicy and let me tell you SMASHING CRAB was it! I was worried because some of the reviews and people complaining about the prices. We decided to give this place a try and I was so impressed!! We got good service. We made it in right before the rush started. We got so much food it took us forever to finish it and the food was delicious. We both ordered drinks and mine was super strong but I loved it. Smashing crab is definitely worth the price!! Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely superb service and food! Thank you for making our special surprise a complete success. This place is perfect for any occasion. Thank you Roman for an awesome greeting and finding us the perfect table and thank you Don Rafael for an amazing service, and your food suggestions were on point. My family and I enjoyed your comedy, too!! Abundant blessings and continued success.

One of the best Cajun places in San Antonio. the ambiance is vibrant and the staff is well trained and friendly. The take all the care to keep everyone safe - hand-sanitizer at the entrance, temperature screening and social distancing. The quality of food was amazing. We tried the Cajun fries and the trinity shrimp bowl with corn in it. I definitely recommend their trinity flavor. The staff explains you the spice level which makes it easier to select the level of spice. 1 pound shrimp was enough for 2 people. Pro-tip: try having the sauce with boiled white rice ;) Overall, very happy with the experience and would definitely visit this place again

I'm giving 2 stars because of inconsistency. I've eaten at the restaurant a few times and usually get the trinity. It was pretty good. I ordered to go recently, however, and the last few occasions the sauce was all oil and no garlic, no flavor, just oil. It was heavy and VERY bland. A bit disappointed given what I spent on it. So, in conclusion, they're normally good, but the last few times I was there and ordered pickup it was not good at all. (the problem with pickup is that you don't know what you get until you get home and cannot fix the problem immediately.)

seafood, yeah, so great. Arrived at six, it was not packed. The service was sociable and attentive. The prices are fair for the quality of food. Makes me feel like I am back in Tucson.
