We were flying with TAP Air Portugal Airlines from Terminal B, and, strictly speaking, were eligible to United Polaris Lounge in Terminal C, for our booking was made via United Airlines, plus TAP and United both belong to the same Star Alliance. However, a visit to a very spacious, luxurious and accommodating Polaris lounge would have required getting outside and taking a shuttle ride, which is an easy task (we have done it in the past) but also somewhat bothersome if you are just planning to relax before your flight. Instead, we were shown into a business class lounge of yet another member of Star Alliance, this of SAS Airlines. Well, we are not 100% sure it was the right decision. First and foremost, it gets extremely crowded, up to a point that finding any spot to seat, including the high bar stools, may get problematic. After a certain time, probably after boarding of SAS own flight is completed, on or around 5 PM, the lounge becomes almost deserted, but before that the setting is very far from relaxing. Please refer to our photographs and you will see the big difference \before and after\. The salad bar is limited, but the turkey pastrami cut in very generous slices was great. The veggies, fruits, chips, and cookies are also offered, even though, again, in limited assortment. The choice of alcoholic beverages is good. Overall, a good alternative if one is unwilling to leave Terminal B.

SAS and other affiliated airlines share this gate. At times it is crowded as several flights are scheduled to leave at the same time. It has the typical seating the other SAS lounges have, a salad bar, a hot option for food and a beverage section wich includes wines and beer. Many oulets for power, but some of them are not working and the number of restrooms available (3) does not match the size of the lounge, the line can be quite long at peak times. They could also had done more towards noise reduction, the sound carries quite easily across the large space and at peak times the volume is very high making it hard to relax if that is the purpose for your visit.

Staff is very courteous and helpful. Food selection is not great. It's definitely an American interpretation of a Nordic offering. Almost something like a college student would approximate after a semester abroad. Drink selection is over the top. Probably the best part of the whole lounge.

Nice and quiet with lots of sofas. Only one warm option, if you don't eat meat. Sallad, bread and hard bread. There were coffe and cookies. Crisps and beer, wine and other spirits. I would have liked som more warm options for vegans.
