This was a fun journey with the wife. The girl who ran our tour, Aurora, was mellow and adorable. The Segway training is super easy. My wife, who has all the grace and balance of a drunk three legged baby giraffe, got the hang of it very quickly. All in all, a great way to see little nooks and crannies of the city that are inaccessible by car.

My wife and I took our 2 sons on Segway Tour of Anchorage. It was the first time on a segway for all of us and we caught on really quickly. They're a lot of fun to ride and it was a great way to see Anchorage. Note: you do have to be at least 100 pounds to ride the segway.

A little expensive is all but overall it was a great experience.

My husband and I had a blast on this tour!!! Our guide was Mark and he was extremely knowledgeable on the history about Anchorage. We did the private tour of ship creek and the coastal trail. I highly recommend it. We were able to take photos and video of us on the Segways. Both of us were super nervous about riding a segway but Mark made us feel confident and comfortable. These things are super easy to learn. It was so fun!!!

My wife wanted to do a Segway tour of South Beach in Florida but she was unable to get onto the tour before she left. For years, I was reminded about this so when I saw the business on Google Street View, I said you have to do it this time. So when the time came for her to walk across the street to ask, there was some hesitation once she say the Segway up close. I decided that another ten years of \missing out on a Segway tour\ was not something to look forward to, so I finally dragged her across the road and agreed to take the tour. After the safety video and the one on one tuition which included trying to not fall off when we went over a curb (something we had to master) the group of four customers and the guide took off as a slow pace. After about ten minutes we got a speed upgrade which oddly gave us some more confidence. We were taught to control the Segway by our feet on the platform. I found that a bit odd and once I figured out that I could control it by the handlebars, I really enjoyed it. My wife gradually gained her confidence and then started to enjoy the tour. Towards the end of the tour we had a lengthy decline and a relatively long trip up the hill from the train station back to the Segway home base. By then, my wife was full of confidence and that was a first as she has never fully gained her confidence on her bicycle. Two other guys were on the tour and they booked for another tour that afternoon. It was a great trip and we both felt safe after the first ten minutes. I would highly recommend taking the tour.
