Purchased 1600 box furnace from Sentro Tech. Service is stellar, cant think of how things could have been better. On-time, on-budget, reliable, present, without phone trees- and they helped me think through my application in light of product maturation paths, safety, consumables, set-up, ways to make its use convient, etc. I've had a 30 year career working with unique and sometimes complicated equipment, and these guys are right there at the top. And oh, the furnace works as specified and hasn't had issues.

The furnace we received works beautifully; we use it on a daily basis. The programming is user friendly and the furnace functions as stated. Sentro Tech support is always there if needed.

We ordered a SentroTech tube furnace for use in our research lab. The shipped unit had dimensions different then those quoted and supplied to SentroTech by our group. The specific space and need for this furnace required exact dimensions. We then asked SentroTech to take the unit back and were informed we would have to pay a restocking fee equal to half the purchase cost of the furnace (\u003e10,000). The high restocking fee was not stipulated in the quote. We were told by Sentrotek that the increase in dimensions was due to additional insulation added onto the unit. We were never informed of these modifications. In my past career in business and recent career in research, I have never experienced such a level of disrespect. I suggest a very careful approach with SentroTech. Make sure you receive in writing exact dimensions of any unit, etc. If possible then keep looking for alternate vendors. The research community should avoid doing business with a company that pursues business practices of this nature.
