DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Been using them for years. Got my motor back after two weeks of my 30 phone calls not being answered. Mark said it was good to go. Went all the way to Flamingo 15 minutes into my first shoreline it just stopped working. Stowed it pissed off and water started running out the handle. So much water was in the lower unit it went all the way up the tube and out the head!!! That is my 1,000 trolling motor that I sent in for preventative maintenance!! Dropped it off last night at Inshore Marine the original owner of Saltwater Customs that had to break off his relationship with Mark because he was such a POS! RUN DON'T WALK

This place is backed up for months. Avoid at all costs. My husband dropped off trolling motor 2 months ago to get fixed. 2 months later, it has still not even been worked on and no explanation. Owner doesn't answer or return calls. There is no communication.

Although they are two hour round trip drive time from my house, they are the closes MinnKota service center to me. So on 8/22/2017 I called first to make sure they were open and received no answer. I though they must be busy and took a chance a drove up there...my mistake! Well they where there and happily took my 3k trolling in for service. After about a week I called...no answer-left message- no call back. two weeks of calling..no answer and no call back. I did receive a short e-mailed two weeks later stating just "parts ordered". By now I was thinking the worst that the guy is closing down and keeping my motor. Then hurricane Irma hit S.florida and all this was put on hold. After the hurricane I Finally called Minnkota and they said they couldn't get a hold of him either. So on 9/22/2017 I took a chance and drove up there and luckily just caught the guy opening the hold in the wall operation he runs and saw my motor on the floor exactly were I left it about a month ago. The guy looked drunk and looked like hes been living in the street-hobo style. I quickly recovered my motor from the floor and put that experience in my rear mirror. Beware!!

Mark had my trolling for 2 months. I live an hour away. The first month he had my trolling motor. I called no answer text message no answer. I texted him again finally he said he moved his shop. So i drive up to his shop. At first he couldn't find my trolling motor then finally we found it. He looks at the serial number and says its not under warranty. I explained to him thats the manufactured date not the purchased date. So the next day I bring him my receipt. Then he says he will order the parts. Another month goes by hes not answering his phone or text again. Then I drive to his shop again he's making excuses saying he didnt have power because of the hurricane. Then he says they delivered the parts to his old shop. Then he tells me give him another week he'll have my trolling fixed. He calls me a week later saying my trolling motor is ready. I show up to his shop he says he had to use old parts to fix my trolling motor because he can't get new parts. The only part thats mine was the mounting bracket. The shaft the lower unit and top part were all old rusty scuffed uped parts. He said it works. I was fed up I just Lift with this old looking trolling motor. I called minnekotta they promised they would make this right. FYI the trolling motor still doesn't work. In the past he has done good work. I don't know what type of personal problems he dealing with. But he's seems stressed and disorganized. People beware of bring you're trolling motor to him you might not see it again.

You asked and here it is. You lost being a service dealer for Minn Kota. (Not surprised) Your so called business should be a bar. Smells like cigarette smoke in the shop and office plus the owner smelled of alcohol. The owner put my trolling motor armature part on wrong. I took it to Scott Martin's facility in Clewiston and they fixed it right. You do not deserve one star nor 5 stars....
