People were very nice and they have much better things than west marine. I would love to work there when I turn 16 here pretty soon.

Fantastic service! Patiently answered all my questions about features, maintenance, storage, loading, knots, everything...took around 2 hours. They also helped carry boat to the dock for the maiden voyage and demonstrate how to properly load/unload on my car so plenty of schlepping as well. Top notch shop!

Super nice staff and a local company. Much cooler than West Marine, which is ridiculously overpriced and very ordinary.

Outstanding service!!! We bought two kayaks and they helped us understand all of our options for paddles and left jackets. They helped us put on a new roof rack for our new kayaks and showed us how to tie down properly to secure the kayaks. The time they spent with us was extremely educational and helpful.

This is a cool local shop for getting yourself geared up for a variety of boats and kayaking adventures. I would compare this place to a West Marine but a more local homey vibe with an awesome decor.

Very helpful staff, didn't have what I needed and ordered it for next day pickup. Worked out great.

Amazing service and staff! I bought a Yakima crossbar set and the gentlemen (forgot his name) installed it for me in the parking lot. Super pleased with this store and I would recommend going here to anyone.

Bad experience with this place. Called about a Wilderness Systems Tsunami 140 advertised on the Ship to Shore Marine website for 959. Spoke to two employees, one was the store manager, or at least said they were. They said the website didn't have anything to do with the store. I pointed out their store was in the website contact info, that's how I got the # to call them. I asked what store I would need to go to to get the sale price, they said they didn't know, I then asked who is responsible for the website, I was told "the owner". I asked for a point of contact for the owners staff. They said they don't give out the owners info, perfectly reasonable, but I wasn't asking for the owners contact info, I was looking for an executive assistant or sales associate for the online content. I kept getting talked over and grew more and more irate as all they did was try to stonewall and tell me what they couldn't do, and by implication how they were not going to honor an advertisement with their stores name on it. Absolutely poor customer service. I had over 1000 bucks to spend at their store, I guess that's not enough to get a customer that would have probably spent more in the store over time if only they had honored what was advertised, and provided good customer service...Oh, and if they want to put this off on the owner how about calling the owner telling them what was going on, and letting them make the decision.
