Coming to this monastery for several months, I am always very excited for friday night zen meditation and buddhism class. It is a great way to end the week, and when they have events on Sundays (ceromonies, half day retreats, etc), it is the perfect way to start the week! The nuns and volunteers always welcome you with a warm smile, they are a very delightful and helpful group of practitioners :) The classes are not like your typical lecture, they are easy to follow and the head nun is very funny and makes it very enjoyable! The meditation is very calming and effective :).

Visiting for class or the One Incense Meditation is the highlight of my week. The only place where I feel total peace and serenity. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, they are always happy to answer questions and help people gain a better understanding of Buddhism. Since I started attending class in September my practice has improved significantly and I take Buddhism much more seriously. I love this place and highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning about the Buddhist path.

Kid friendly class that engaged young minds and helped them to think about how to live peaceful, meaningful lives. So important in this digital distraction age.

Its called Life Change Church now. Pastor Darren Calvin gave a lady a new car because he wanted to help people in need to help them to get to work and church. He went to the hospital to pray for a man he didnt know so he wouldnt die. Its not about the money for him, its about people!! Finally a real church!

The Zen and meditation classes are open to everybody. Vegetarian cooking classes are held often too.
