So if you get married during Covid they want you to mail your personal information to them. Original Birth Certificate and Original copy of the Marriage License and your Social Security card in the mail! Then they’ll mail it back! The court house tells you not to give anyone the original because that’s the only one you get! Not only that this is NOT safe or legitimate! Get your stuff together or open apart of the office for replacement cards and name changes only! Absolutely ridiculous to ask people to do this and TRUST that you’d send their papers back to them! I was blown away by this!

Not too to bad. Wait can long, but Security is helpful, and they do have personnel come out some times, and assist by expediting some issues, by asking to form a line so they can gather what you want to drop off. So listen for someone by the front door. And this does have a convenient bus route, from 9am-5pm. And if you happen to miss that time, just walk toward Potranco to catch the 618/620. Wife had to come by 2x, and she said it was ot complicated\, so long as you have required documents - I suppose. And we got there and in and out in 30min. May you be blessed.

This place sucks! Makes excuses for misplacing other people's important information, iv had to go through this process 3 times and they still hadn't got their stuff together.... Just Trash!

So I DID mail my original marriage license and info to get my last name changed in September 2020... and they kept my marriage license haven’t gotten it back!!! I called the social security and they gave me the office number and it just rolls over to the original main phone number I called. I am SSSOOOO UPSET. they advised me to mail my personal information and then KEPT IT. Didn’t get a new social security card, didn’t get my marriage license or info back AND CANT EVEN CONTACT THEM. Not to mention this request to mail personal information seems to me like a TOTAL PRIVACY issue.
