I’ve been very pleased with my experience boarding at Spirit of Texas Arabians. First off, don’t let the same fool you - although the owners have Arabians, they welcome, and are knowledgeable of, all breeds. My horse settled in quickly and he is obviously getting great nutrition as his coat is shiny and healthy. Their facilities are very clean. Both arenas and the barn are some of the most well-cared for that I’ve boarded at. Literally, out the gate and on the orange trail of LBJ Grasslands. Need I say more?!
We have had up to 5 horses at the same time at Hank and Selenas since 2006 and could not be happier. We drive 1-1/2 hours to see and ride our horses and are willing to do so because they are our \babies\ and we know they could not be better cared for. Hank and Selena treat all the horses in the barn as if they were their own and we never worry about their care. They offer large pastures with long turnouts, great stalls with quality shavings that are always kept clean and quality hay and grain. Also, they employ an excellent farrier and have two experienced vets they rely on and Hank and Selena will provide minor medical attention to our horses if needed. They are also experienced trainers so have helped us with any training issues we have had. There are miles and miles of trails right outside their gate so if you love to trail ride and want great care for your horses Spirit Of Texas is where you want to be. I have had a horse in this barn for almost 20 years. The Copelands take beautiful care of all their horses and are skilled trainers of horses and riders. Selena is an expert at horse nutrition and Hank is the original horse whisperer. Cannot say enough good things about these fine people.
It's a horse ranch where I work and there is so much peace and love there.
