I don’t even know where to begin... We ate here pretty much every day of our vacation for lunch (or a mid day “snack”) LOLOLOL. Lobster dinner with steamers, corn, slaw and a dinner roll. Lobster rolls!! Fried FRESH haddock. Fresh hand picked crab roll. Hand cut fries. Oooohhhh, and that clam chowdah!!!!! All, as far as my taste is concerned, perfection! The food incredible, truly the heart of Maine cuisine! The staff (I believe all relatives) was incredible! Great hospitality. Frank Sprague is a true gentleman and such a great guy. LOVES to talk to his guests and I’m blessed to have met him and his family. All the best, Frank, and your crew. Thank you for your hospitality and incredible food! Can’t wait to return...

Tasty treats. Stunning views. Sold out of some things (some varieties of ice creams and drinks), but was end of season, so that totally makes sense not to replenish. Cole slaw was not my taste, but not bad by any means, I just like mine more bland.

The food is just as good as Red's, with shorter lines, and better seating. The clam chowder is exceptional. Cash only, with an ATM on site. Nice to see a multi-generational family run establishment.

Ok, not great. The service was slow. I stood in line for about 15 minutes before ordering. The food came out in less than 10 minutes though which is good. As for the food, I had the fried haddock sandwich and fries. The sandwich was nicely fried and had a decent flavor, but was a bit small. The fries were a decent size for a small, but they were cool and a bit soft (a sign that their fryer isn't given enough time to come back to temperature after several orders). Also 4 is a bit much to pay for a small. The outside seating area is nice with picnic tables and umbrellas and pleasant music playing. The view of the Sheepscot River is nice too. They are cash only, and there is an ATM that charges a 3 fee. Overall, I think I'll pass on any future orders considering The Sea Basket is just up the road and they are 5 stars all the way.

The best lobster roll I’ve ever had. A whole fresh lobster (at least) and a perfectly toasted, buttery roll. The setting isn’t half bad, either. We waited an hour but it was totally worth it. Definitely a worthwhile stop on a trip up or down the coast.
