We had a blockage in our main sewer line close to the connection at the public main line out in the street. We had two other plumbing companies come out to try to help us. The blockage was too far for both companies to reach. Roto router was able to come out and reach the blockage and clear the line. It was such a relief! The cost was a bit high, but assurance that they would fix it or we paid nothing was completely worth it. We were worried we would have to pay significantly more for other methods to clear the pipe. Marquis was the plumber who helped us and he was very professional and competent. What a relief!

My washer broke and there was water leak. I wasn’t sure so I called roto rooter plumbing thinking this might be plumbing issue. The technician showed up and couldn’t even take out the washer well. Once washer was taken out, the plug was unplugged. I ended up buying a new washer/dryer combo. When new delivery of washer/dryer was made, the person could not install it. The installation person told me that he cannot install the washer/dryer combo because outlet is broken and it can cause fire. I thought it was just unplugged but it was actually broken. I had to call electrician to fix it. Roto-rooter didn’t even know the issue and just asking me to do other things to charge me. I spent 130 to fix my outlet he broke! Update: So after this review, they contacted me. I didn’t expect but they were willing to pay me the cost of repair I spent on this. They asked me for the receipt so I provided it to them. Since then, nothing happened. This person was saying he is processing the check but never happened. Very very bad service. I never even expect anything from them and they just lied so that I can write a good review. Never will use them ever again. Update: someone contacted me again and issue has been taken care. Update: Trying to get another estimate for faucet replacement job. One tech said around 400 and once I got the faucet then called to install second tech said around 1000 to replace. This is two different quotes from same company. Cannot trust.

The Roto-Rooter guy just left my house. Brang is a younger guy, but no less a stellar plumber! It was a big job. I had an emergency leak, but a lot of places out of Tyson’s/Alexandria wouldn’t even come out until midweek, so last night I tried the 24/7 Roto-Rooter, which is, admittedly, more often newly licensed younger guys getting their feet wet (pun intended). And you know what? I’m pleased!! Others would have likely tried to convince me to break tile or change the shower configuration, but Brang understood I wished no such thing, so he broke the drywall in a tight closet corner, helped me move some built-in closet maids, and installed copper piping and a new rough box where and how I wanted it. He also smartly recommended adding in the local shut offs (which I smartly took him up on). The job took 4-5 hours, but that wasn’t any inconvenience compared to what it could have been. Brang did a great job, all for a total bargain compared to what others in the area would have liked to gouge me for. Even the estimate was free (and if hadn’t liked their diagnosis or chosen to use their services, it would have still been free). The Roto-Rooter customer service people on the phone were very responsive, too — real live people with no touch tone menus whatsoever! Their website also offered a 75 off coupon to boot!! And — I didn’t expect this — when I paid, the work even came with a 1-year leakproof guarantee!!! Again, I’m very pleased, especially since lately it’s been hard to find good contractors for work around the house. Don’t be afraid to take a chance on these guys!!

Horrible experience! Technician billed 800 for a sump pump change . 510 for labor, 270 for the pump. Suspecting something isn't right, called the office and got confusing information. There is no standard. Seems they charge whatever they can. Be careful with their technicians and office people. Double check before you make any commitment and sign any paperwork.

I had my main sewer line replaced by Roto Rooter. The guys who did the work, Harry and Larry, were very professional and did a great job. They completed the job timely and with minimal interruption. They cleaned up well after the job was completed. I would definitely recommend Roto Rooter to anyone who needs their sewer line replaced. Their prices were comparable to other companies as well.
