I went for a full diagnosis of everything that is was wrong with my car. So i can get everything fixed. I drop it off on a Wednesday and they had it all day for noise to still be there. So i called and spoke to a manager to complain. I was told to bring my car back on a Friday. When i brought it back they gave me a loaner and did the work that they “missed” the first time. The service department manager is very awesome he took care of everything like he said he would. I would definitely be back

Ok, so I had purchased a VW from Manhattan Open Road VW which was a major issue all in itself, but I figured, hey bring it to the Steet to get things fixed as they are an accredited local VW dealer... I would have to say from my month long ordeal with their maintenance department, I cannot recommend maintenance or repairs to be done there. It took at least 1 week longer than discussed to get the requested work done, even with that it required dozens (and I mean dozens!) of calls/emails to get updates and keep things moving along (even calls to the General Manager) because the folks in the maintenance department lied about the progress... but then to find out weeks later a technician clearly lied about the work they said was completed. In summary, the lie reguarding completed maintenance was associated with a simple inspection of the engine air filter and cabin air filter. When I picked it up, they said they did, and that both were fine. A couple weeks later I felt like I wanted to get a little more power from my engine, so I bought a new engine air filter and decided to install it; opened the air filter housing, and the photo below was what I found. The mold and deterioration of the filter could only have occured after months of moisture on the filter, indicating they never looked at the filter and blatantly lied to me about the inspection. Those looking for a honest repair, should look elsewhere.

I took my VW in for oil change and inspection at 9820 miles on the car. Was told the car had a oil change done at 5,000 miles and didn't need another until 15000 miles. The question I have is why wasn't I told at 5000 miles the car didn't need a oil change till 10000 miles. I only get two free oil changes. Big black of communication. I feel I was taken advantage of.

We went here, as NYE Volkswagen in Rome service has gone down dramatically this last year. They got us in quick and we're very easy to work with. Only issues we had, was they did not do the standard Volkswagen 60 point inspection. They just did oil change and tire rotation and then gave us receipt. The service team felt very young and inexperienced also.
