I was there for a friends wedding. I service that he got isn't even worth the one star i gave. He payed for open bar and was give two beers to pick from and only three kinds of hard liquor that all tasted watered down. We had to keep telling them to empty trash. The bride and groom had to set up the tables for the food and to eat at. Basically the staff didn't do anything there and when they were asked to do something they would get an attitude about it. I'm looking for a venue for me and my fiance to get married at. I was thinking this place would be good from the way things look but due to service on my friend's wedding I will not be using this venue.

Great beautiful place. Perfect outdoor wedding destination
I had a very difficult time reaching anybody.
We had our wedding at Stein Farms on September 14th of this year. The venue is absolutely beautiful and there were so many things we loved about it. Everything had so much character and stands out from other venues such as the lodge, barn, Oak Island (ceremony location), wedding parlor, and the house we stayed in with our wedding party. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the venue was. Clem was also very accommodating and made sure our guests felt welcomed. The reason I deducted a star, was for communication. At first, Clem was good at responding to emails, however, as time got closer to the wedding, we would have to send multiple emails or call/text him to receive a response. During and after the wedding weekend, the way he communicated with us could have been better. Specifically, around the alcohol use, we didn't appreciate how he approached us about a particular situation. After the wedding, Clem also never responded to our multiple attempts to contact him about a refund he said he would send us. Overall, if communication was better, this would easily be a 5 star review.
Great place to get married. Gosh there is even an Island to get married on. So cool. Wonderful place. Cant wait to get married on the island
