I was wary of coming here because of the other reviews but I had a great experience. I had a serious issue with financial aid. No one at buckeye link would take my case. I was going to have to drop out of school. But they were so helpful here. They coached me on how to resolve my case and what channels to go through. It was resolved within a few days, and I'm still in my program. They saved my academic career and I'm very thankful for that.

I had an experience with an unhelpful employee. I feel like they're not even there to assist the student and understand their situation. Whatever the case may be, the employee \helping\ me was very unhelpful and a bit condescending towards me, which I found quite offensive. By the end of my discussion with her you could tell she just wanted to be done with me, even though I was being completely open and respectful. Not a place to go if you want student support. Ohio State needs to really step their game up when it comes to assisting students because this is no way to get treated when looking for help with a situation.

Terrible at helping graduate students. I will never donate to OSU because of 1) the awful Graduate School and 2) the complicit way Student Advocacy refuses to stand up for graduate students facing a myriad of issues including, but not limited to, abuse by faculty, lack of contractual payment and navigating OSU. So glad I graduated and MOVED ON, despite their lack of help.
