I came to Summit after leaving Tadiso. I like Summit better. The staff are really nice, it's usually quick and doing our monthly group isn't as bad as I thought it would be. The only problem w Summit is the hours: 5 am-11am Mon- Fri and Saturday 5 am-9 am. The upside is they are closed on Sunday so you get a take-home bottle. Anyway, it's a methadone clinic. It's what you make of it. If you want to leave the drugs behind and you work as hard for your recovery as much as you worked for getting high, you'll be fine. GOOD LUCK

So I did review summit under my other profile.....I transferred to Summit from Tadiso after my counselor left. It's a methadone clinic. You get what you put into it. Ms Angel, the lady who gets you in , is so nice as are the dosing nurses, Ms MJ, the lady at the front window, is also nice. I have not encountered anyone who was mean or nasty or unhelpful here. They sincerely want to see everyone succeed. Don't fight your counselor, they are there to help and if you don't mesh well then ask for a new counselor. I have found that in the 3 1/2 years that I have been enrolled in the clinic, most people who do the most complaining are the ones who consistently break rules and get into trouble. What's more important? Your recovery or the few miserable people who try to drag you down? Then you have the ,\methadone only keeps you stuck\, people. Well so does heroin and pills....the difference is, you probably WONT DIE from methadone. I have a friend who successfully graduates pit of the clinic, got married and pregnant, and she is doing well. The point is, methadone can help. It's what you make of it. GOD plus methadone saved my life.....got a job and my kids back in my life. Could not have done that on dope.

This clinic cares about NOTHING but money. They have no problem falsifying documents to get your business/money but they won’t so much as even try to help you legally during your recovery. The required counseling sessions are non existent. They will over medicate you to the point of vomiting and extreme weight loss. The old bag that works at the front desk lacks knowledge, integrity and compassion/empathy. Stay AWAY!!!

Great clinic! It is on a bus line. The bus practically drops you off right at the clinic. The are owned and operated by the same company as Alliance, Pinnacle. They basically have all the same rules and policies as Alliance. If you like Alliance, you will like it even better here. Especially for the clients that use public transportation! The staff and counselors are excellent!
