Louise is simply the best! My Mastiff is very wary of new people so naturally I was concerned about boarding him somewhere. Once I spoke with Louise I knew that was the place for him. He stayed a few days and she knew not to push him. By the end of his stay with her they were fast friends. I highly recommend Sun Kiva kennels and Louise. My dog was happy and made a new friend because Louise knows what she is doing and she is very good at what she does.

I have known the folks at Sun Kiva for a few years now and have come to respect them for their integrity, attention to detail and esp. their love of all animals. I obtained one rescue Rottweiler male from them. He had been in their keeping for quite some time. He was happy and healthy and a total joy. Their commitment to dogs in need is a great example for all.
Our doggo loves coming here. The owner loves animals and has older but well maintained facility. It is out in the sticks but that just means more room for the dogs to play. Prices are really good and vary with the size of dog/or other critter you may have. We use Sun Kiva almost every time we travel and the dogs always come back exhausted (which means they got to play a lot) and are clean and happy!
Louise is a wonderful person who loves animals. She helps rescues by fostering for free - and she especially cares for the old-timers that no one wants to take on. She gives them a loving home for as much time as they have left. She even makes up special dishes for the dogs being boarded at the holidays. She will love your animals as if they were her own.
