DO NOT USE! STAY AWAY! they will not call you back, they will ignore you if you show up. The lady on the phone is extremely rude and is no help. They will have your family members in there for months and all they will say is \we are working on the case\. Please explore other options. Also, the place looks sketchy and who knows if they are doing things to the book.

DO NOT CHOSE THIS FUNERAL HOME!!!!! I have never written a review in my life but my family has had such a god awful experience with Mark that I feel absolutely compelled to do so. I can’t begin to explain how incredibly unprofessional and heartless Mark is. He will not call you back, respond to texts or answer emails. (Unless you mention taking legal action then suddenly he’s very responsive) Oh and if you leave a message with one of the ladies they are just an answering service in another state....My cousin was fatally hit by a car the day after new years day. (May she Rest In Peace) We chose mark allen mortuary because of the affordable prices (YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR) and central location for family attending the service. He was very attentive and kind up until he received payment. It went completely downhill after that. My aunt (mother of the deceased) ended up owing money to social security because mark failed to get her the death certificate in a timely manner. After NUMEROUS texts calls emails etc I was finally able to set up a day to retrieve the death certificate from him. To only arrive that day and be stood up. He did not show up or have the courtesy to tell me he was unable to make it. His office is about 2 hours away from where I live. My aunt does not speak english and to help her through these very tough times I offered my assistance in translating for her. Because of the nature of my cousin’s death the insurance company would like to pay for the funeral expenses. All they need is a copy of the receipt for the funeral services. Guess who won’t answer or return any of our calls? You guessed it mark! So here I am 7 months after my cousins death still dealing with this idiot. This very lengthy post does not even include half of the unprofessionalism my family and many other families have had to endure working with Mark. I reported him to the better business bureau in hopes that not a single other mourning family will be taken advantage of.

I could not recommend this place any more highly. Excellent service, compassion, everything. When my uncle died after a long battle with syphilis they were there to send him out as awesome as he lived.
