We rescued a pony that had no farrier care for years. His hooves were like rockers. We called David and he came the next day. With the first trimming, Jack our pony was galloping and prancing like a show horse. Something he hasn't done in years. David came again 6 weeks later and trimmed more and now Jack's hooves actually look like hooves. David has a great disposition with people and the animals. He is patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable. We need patient farriers with our rescue animals and David delivers. We would recommend Sunny farrier service to anyone. We have a few more trimmings to go but what a difference David made in Jack's life.

We are so glad that we found David and we highly recommend him for your farrier needs. He is very professional and shows up on time and confirms his appointments a few days prior. He is gentle with my old boys and works so hard to help my one horse with a severe stifle injury be more comfortable. David is gentle, kind, detailed and very very patient with all the horses in the barn. I am very happy we took a chance and are able to call David our favorite farrier! :)

I enjoy having our farrier come out to the barn. David is friendly, honest, and always shows up as planned. He's well-equipped with everything he needs. He is kind to my horse Trigger and she trusts him just fine! He always does excellent trimming and shoeing! (Actually, he is meticulous to get it perfect.) My horse wears all 4 shoes as she has had sensitive feet and lots of breaking and cracking without them. We ride rocky terrain, walking and loping about 3 times/week, every week, about 5-6 hours total. It's been 8 months since David is shoeing her and I've had no problems with her hooves or shoes at all! I'm so glad I have David Richard as my farrier. Thanks, David, for giving me a happy horse with no sore feet!
